Marriage and Family Therapist
Affair Recovery Specialist
Certified Neurodiverse Couples Counselor
I have helped over two thousand couples answer the question, “Should I stay or should I go?” A results-oriented therapist, I focus on innovative and hands-on tools for effective communication and personal relating.
I’ve been in private practice since 1994 and have transitioned from a traditional psychotherapist utilizing learned standardized psychotherapeutic techniques to a more dynamic results oriented therapist teaching and implementing tools that have proved effective in helping my couples become more relational.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I obtain yearly training and education beyond the State requirement to keep abreast with the newest techniques in helping effectively maintain and repair relationships.
I believe each couple is unique and not all therapies apply like they did in the past. There is no longer that one size fits all and I ensure, with the couple’s input, they receive the strategic and psychological “Moving Forward Plan” that is appropriate for their special needs and wants.
I’m a parent of two adult daughters and am a Blended Family. Because I understand family dynamics I help incorporate extended family members to live harmoniously within the confines of healthy boundaries where setting good limits with each other is key.

During my years of service I have been told by current and former clientele that my energy and ability to Self Disclose about similar life circumstances has helped their own process in that they feel encouraged and confident.
